My passion is food, all aspects of it, and especially the creative process of celebrating food through photography. I am awestruck by the psychedelic cross section of a cabbage, the vibrancy of fruit flesh, the beautiful mess left after a good meal. I want my images to make people to stop and open their eyes to the remarkable beauty of food that is all around us, in our kitchens and on our plates.
For almost 10 years I have been posting my recipes and food photography on my blog, My New Roots, along with contributing original imagery to a long list of online and printed media, and photographing both of my cookbooks. Over the years, I’ve had many people say “I would love to frame that photo and hang it up in my kitchen!”. Which is a huge compliment! So to answer that request, I’ve created The Gourmet Print Shop.
On these pages you’ll find some carefully selected favorites of mine (and my readers) as well as some new photographs that are only available here. They have all been through a delicate editing process to make them perfect for print, and in files large enough to make a giant poster to hang above your couch!
I hope you will enjoy browsing through my collections of photos, and I am honoured that one of my photographs may shine brightly on your wall.
