If you need a break from cookies, whip up these rich and fudge-y brownies that are grain-free, gluten-free, vegan, fibre-rich, and don’t even need an oven!😎The recipe is tested and perfected (such a tough job), and now live on Grow, my membership site. Never waste another hunk of feta cheese again! No more feta-lities!!😂Use this super simple kitchen hack to keep your feta fresh for up to 3 weeks. You’ll need:1 cup / 250ml of filtered water2 teaspoons of fine sea saltStir together until the salt has dissolved.Pour this brine into a glass container.Add your leftover hunk of feta, and make sure that it is fully submerged in the brine (if not, simply make another batch of brine with the same ratios until you have enough). Snap on an airtight lid, and place in the fridge. For ultimate freshness, check the feta every week, and if it’s starting to get a bit slimy or smell *too* tangy, drain the brine and replace it with a fresh batch. I hope this helps you waste less feta! Cheese is precious! 👋Hello friends,It’s been a big week and I know that many of us are tired, run down, fighting colds, tending broken hearts, and feeling uncertain about the future. I don’t have any answers but I do know that nourishing ourselves, our families and friends must come first. Stick to the small and attainable, because everything ripples out from there🌀This breakfast has been a game-changer for me, not just this week but the past few months as soon as I got serious about flipping the day around to enjoy my largest meal at breakfast to properly fuel me. This one delivers 52g of protein, fibre, and minerals. It’s easy, fast, inexpensive, and veg-friendly. I’m over the moon about it!😄Starting the day with protein boosts dopamine production, which is essential for motivation, focus, and productivity. That doesn’t mean avoiding carbohydrates (in fact we need them in balance to support hormone health - see all those veggies and the big ol’ hunk of sourdough?), but it does mean that we include them with other macronutrients to keep our blood sugar stable, avoiding brain fog and the carb-crash cycle that challenges so many of us🎢If you’d like the recipe, it’s up on my membership site, Grow (only $5 a month my friends!).
